Each month, the Casa del Cinema will entrust part of its programming to a great filmmaker who will have “carte blanche” on the choice of titles to present to the audience. In May 2023, in collaboration with the Cineteca di Bologna, the selection will be by one of the most important filmmakers in the history of cinema, Martin Scorsese. The first part of the programme of “Carta Bianca” to Martin Scorsese (which will be followed up in September) will host five pairs of films: to a title he has chosen from his extraordinary filmography, the maestro has in fact paired a work that has been a source of inspiration for his work. Ticket: 5 euros.
Tuesday May 30th, Scorsese will be the protagonist of an encounter with the audience that will be held at 9:00 pm at the Teatro Ettore Scola, on the occasion of the screening of Mean Streets, one of the filmmaker’s masterpieces. Admission will be free while seats are available.
