Tornando in macchina dal funerale della madre, il detective Gun-su investe un uomo e, preso dalla disperazione, infila il cadavere nella bara della madre. Pochi giorni dopo, il delitto di Gun-su compare nel database della polizia ed un suo collega inizia ad indagare sul caso. A complicare le cose, si fa avanti un testimone che, per qualche incomprensibile motivo, vuole il corpo dell’uomo. Non avendo altra scelta, Gun-su dissotterra la tomba e recupera il cadavere, notando strane ferite su di esso.
Driving back from his mother’s funeral, detective Gun-su runs over a man and, in a moment of desperation, he dumps the body in the same coffin of his mother. A few days later, Gun-su’s crime pops up on the police database and his colleague is heading up the case. Getting things worse, a witness steps forward:, who, for an unclear reason, wants the corpse. Without another choice to depend on, Gun-su digs the grave and retrieves the body, only to find strange wounds on it.

Nato nel 1971, il regista Kim Seong-hun assiste alla direzione di “Oh! Happy day” e “He Was Cool” (rispettivamente nel 2003 e nel 2004), prima di fare il suo debutto nel 2006 con la commedia “How the Lack of Love Affects Two Men,” notevole per il suo tempo comico ed i personaggi arguti e stilisticamente unici. Dopo otto anni, torna alla regia con il suo secondo film “A Hard Day”, intenso film d’azione che gli vale tre riconoscimenti ai Daejong Film Awards (Miglior regista, luci e fotografia) più altri tre all’ultima edizione del Blue Dragon Film Award (Miglior sceneggiatura, attore non protagonista e montaggio).
Born in 1971, director Kim Seong-hun assisted in direction for “Oh! Happy day” and “He Was Cool” (respectively in 2003 and in 2004), made his debut in 2006 with a comedy “How the Lack of Love Affects Two Men”, was notable for its comedic timing and its witty and stylistically unique characters. After eight years he came back with his second feature film “A Hard Day”, an intense action movie which earned him three awards at Daejong Film Awards (Best Director, Lighting and Cinematography), plus other three in the last edition of Blue Dragon Film Award (Best Screenplay, Supporting Actor and Film Editing).
